Yes.

Is it Govt. Recognised?
This Institute is project of GJEPC sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India.

What is the purpose of its creation?
To meet growing demand of skilled professional of Industry.

Is it affiliated to any University / Abroad?
At present, it is not affiliated to any University in India or Abroad, but
efforts are in the offing.

Which courses are in Demand?
Almost all the courses but the following are in great demand:
Students - Basic Jewellery Design, CAD/CAM, Diamond Grading, Gemmology, Gem
Identification and Jewellery Making
Industry - Metal Setting & Filling Finishing

Do you have any part time Course/Batch/Weekend?

No part time courses at present.

We have evening batches on demand basis from 5 to 8 pm for following courses :

CAD/CAM

Sales & Marketing
-
Refinery / Refinery Assistant

Fees for Diploma Course is so high?
Compared to International standard the fees are quite low. It is a non-profit
organisation. The Institute is one and only full-fledged institute in the
country.

Can we pay Diploma Fee in Installments?
No

Can we pay by cheque or cash?
We accept only Demand Draft.

Do we get certificate for short courses?
Yes.

What is the scope for employment in Industry?
We have a placement cell and the Institute is backed by The Gem & Jewellery
Export Promotion Council Career Cell.

How is Registration for short courses done?
Registration for short courses is done on first cum first serve basis.

Do you provide consultancy service to the Industry?
Yes, we do provide consultancy service to the Industry.

Do you have Refresher Courses?
Yes, we do have Refresher Courses for Metal Setting, Filing & Finishing,Polishing and Refining of Gold.
