 Jewellery today...And In The Future |

The jewellery industry in India today requires trained Sales and Marketing professional in order to take the industry to the next level.
Institutes like IIGJ are taking initiative to meet the industry requirements by training their students’ right from concept building to marketing giving them thorough product knowledge.
In the due process, it was observed that these trained professional while entering the industry possess excellent product knowledge but need more guidance in order to keep up with the changing and challenging market scenario.
To help these students, IIGJ had organized a guest lecture on 9th December 2011 on "Jewelley today...And In The Future" by Mr.Navin Sadarangani – Director, NYUZ.
The lecture was based on the changing jewellery trends of the market and how should the students adapt to these changes. Mr. Navin also gave a brief knowledge about the expanding retail business in jewellery. He further suggested the students to be more observant in the trade and keep themselves updated about the competitors and the upcoming brands to keep up with the fast pace in this industry.
This lecture not only helped the students to get motivated and to keep up with the changing industry but also built their confidence to face the upcoming challenges.
