IIGJ Launches On-Site Training Programs in Jewellery Industry

IIGJ launched its “On-Site Training Program” in May 2011, wherein a Practical
Workshop on ‘Gold Appraisal Techniques’ for the “Gold Appraisal Training
Programme” of HDFC BANK was conducted by its Faculty Mr. Uttam Das at Bangalore.
So far IIGJ has trained 169 students distributed in 7 Batches including the recent
workshop conducted for this Bank at Chennai on 16th & 17th July 2011. HDFC Bank has
further desired to conduct another 11 to 12 programs on Saturdays & Sundays.
On the heels of the previous venture IIGJ has stepped out once again and conducted
its Corporate Course on "Sales & Marketing of Jewellery" for 50 members of SHREE
JEWELLERS at Hyderabad from 11th July to 15th July 2011. This programme was
conducted by IIGJ Visiting Faculty, Mr. Naren Walters, who already holds 23 years
of training experience in Jewellery Industry. Considering the success of this program,
SHREE JEWELLERS have expressed their desire to conduct similar programme for their
Staff. |
